Pronghorn APLS Racing Mountain Bike Suspension Design Concept
Competitive edge is the most important point for the mountain bikers. We want to introduce about the best of both worlds Pronghorn APLS racing bicycles with mountain bike suspension design. This sport bike concept can mean extracting each ounce of energy from biker bodies and their equipment. A bike frame the company named its Anti Power Loss System (APLS) which is designed by Danish high-end mountain bike builder Pronghorn. This is better utilizes the rider’s energy by delivering power extra efficiently to the back wheel when the rider needs it – climbing uphill or negotiating technical courses.
With mounting the bike suspension on the top tube Pronghorn APLS Racing gives a more horizontal and forward supply of the power while raising the stiffness and rigidity of the rear end. The end consequence is a faster and more efficient suspension design idea though eliminating the energy sapping pedal bob. This is means; the bicycles can handles such as a hard tail when pedaling uphill so all the biker’s power is expressed by the chain to the rear wheel – the energy expelled while pedaling is not used to pull the wheel up and down. But when traveling downhill the bicycle reverts to handling like a full suspension model. The frame was entered in the recent ISPO Brandnewaward competition where it was a finalist in the hardware section.
